The Nicaraguan government has entered into an agreement with the Chinese company Yutong to purchase 500 brand-new buses. This agreement comes as part of the Sandinista government's efforts to strengthen and enhance urban and rural transportation across the country. The procurement contract was finalized just two weeks after President Daniel Ortega expressed the intention to acquire additional bus units. The aim of this acquisition is to ensure the continued improvement of public transportation in all municipalities of Nicaragua.
The signing of this agreement marks the commencement of a new financing project aimed at acquiring more buses. The objective is to modernize collective transportation and bring benefits to Nicaraguan families. This agreement not only reinforces the diplomatic relations between Nicaragua and the People's Republic of China since their reestablishment but also highlights the cooperative and fraternal spirit shared between both nations.
