Colcafé, a Colombian coffee producer and one of the most competitive companies in the foreign market, exhibited at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) for the second time. The Expo itself has celebrated its edit edition between November 5 and 10 in Shanghai. “We are seeing that coffee consumption in China is increasing and we are seeing an increase in these volumes of products valued in the country", said Francisco Eladio Gómez, International Manager of the Colombian brand.

Colcafé was part of the Colombian pavilion and will carry the brand of its premium coffee "Matiz". It will also carry the "Cordillera" brand chocolate produced by one of the business units of Grupo Nutresa, to which the Colcafé producer belongs. Licores Artesanales de Colombia -which opened its doors in 2020 and produces at least 35,000 liters a month of a smooth rum, aged in white oak barrels and an aniseed-flavored aguardiente- participated for the first time, its first clients being those who were in the Colombian pavilion at the CIIE.
