On October 9, the Chinese Government donated the equivalent of US$77,000 in laboratory supplies for Covid-19 testing to the Caribbean Public Health Agency based in Trinidad and Tobago.

The donation included the following supplies: 1 dry ice machine, 60,000 pairs of gloves, 100,000 syringes, 250 autoclavable plastic bags, 5,000 cryovials and 500 cryogenic boxes. The donated supplies are intended to strengthen one of the most important mechanisms in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic: detection through PCR tests and virus antigens.
