The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Mexico, Zhu Qingqiao, met with the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Gutiérrez Luna to discuss issues of mutual concern, including international cooperation, peace, economic recovery, and the supply of vaccines against COVID-19.
During the meeting, Gutierrez Luna acknowledged China's solidarity and support in donating more than 2.1 billion doses of vaccines to more than 120 countries and international organizations. The two diplomats also agreed that comprehensive security must be maintained to defend world peace and security; and announced that both countries will move towards cooperation and development as long as stability and peace between them are maintained.
