Fundación Nacer is a Honduran non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the conditions necessary for the proper functioning of the labor and delivery rooms at the Escuela Universitaria and General de San Felipe Hospitals (both located in Tegucigalpa).

On November 2, the Foundation received a large donation from the Republic of China (Taiwan), amounting to one million one hundred and fifty thousand lempiras, equivalent to USD $ 47,000. The donation was made by the Taiwanese Ambassador to Honduras, Diego Wen, to support activities to reduce maternal morbidity and mortality. The president of the Foundation, Zenova Yu Way received the donation and thanked the Republic of China for its commitment to the health of all Hondurans.
