China's General Administration of Customs (GACC) suspended imports from two Brazilian beef plants and a Brazilian poultry producer, according to a statement on its website.

The suspensions will run for one week and take effect on April 8, 2022, GACC said, without giving a reason for the move. The ban relates to JBS SA's Goiás meat plant, Marfrig's Mato Grosso beef unit, and a poultry production farm in Sao Paulo owned by Zanchetta.
