Brazil is the largest exporter of grains to the People’s Republic of China

With 63.9 million metric tons exported, Brazil became the largest grain supplier to the People's Republic of China (PRC). The PRC imports a substantial 25% of the world's grain trade volumes, making it the largest importer of grains in the world.

In 2021, the PRC hit a record high for grain imports, reaching an all-time high of 159 million metric tons. According to AXSMarine -experts in technology and maritime transportation- over the last six years there has been a 6% annual growth rate.
