Government of China donated COVID-19 vaccines to Grenada

On April 19, 2022, the COVID-19 vaccines donated by the People's Republic of China (PRC) arrived at the Maurice Bishop International Airport in St. George, Grenada. The delivery ceremony was attended by Wei Hongtian, the Chinese Ambassador to China, along with Nickolas Steele, the Minister of Health and Social Security, who signed the certificate of delivery for the vaccines.

On behalf of the people of Grenada, Minister Steele expressed his thanks to the Government of China for its continued support in the fight against COVID-19. He also reiterated his commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two nations to bring an end to the global pandemic.
